Kanavu Kadhavu(Dream Door )
2025
This is a short film made for my Thesis project at the New York Film Academy. The film follows a young boy who seeks to get a door to feel safe against his neighbor. The film is in Tamil, but has English subtitles. You can say this film is culmination of all that I learnt these last few years. The film is undergoing a festival run. It won "Best Asian Short Film" at Sittanavasal International Film Festival. It also was a semi-finalist at the Flickers Rhode International Film Festival.

Comedy Short that explores a man in desperate need to impress his date. I directed this short.

Written Work
Having been interested in writing since I was 12, I have written a diverse set of stories under different forms, varying based on the need of the story. I am particularly interested in Writing for the Screen as well as writing Novels. I currently have two Pilot Scripts, Two Novel Manuscripts and over ten short film screenplays. I intend to collaborate on these projects with people who can help elevate these stories to the best of it's ability.

BIO
Hi, I am an Indian Screenwriter and Film Director, based in Chennai. Having just graduated from the New York Film Academy,I have made over five short films, with my thesis film titled, Dream Door(Kanavu Kadavu), undergoing a film festival run. I have also written various scripts of differing formats. I am currently developing a Pilot script for a Sci-Fi TV series as well as working on Publishing a novel.
